　中堅ゼネコンの飛島建設と建築資材流通大手のナイスは、合弁会社「ウッドエンジニアリング」（横浜市）を、2024年6月3日に設立する。中層建築の技術的知見と、木材の調達ネットワークを掛け合わせ、非住宅分野の木造・木質化を支援し、市場拡大を図る。同年９月２日の事業開始を予定する。
